    Colorless transparent liquid, density 1.635kg/L ,boiling point 125°C,refractive index 1.635(25°C).It can not dissolve in water ,but can dissolve in some organic solvents, such as methylbenzene, carbon tetrachloride ,carbon disulfide ,trichloromethane and others. It deconposes slowly in water, and decomposes rapidly in alkali solution.
